It is reported that United States H1 scrap price remained flat at US$193.5/long, unchanged for two consecutive weeks.

According to region, Pittsburgh’s H1 scrap price was at US$199.50 per long ton; Chicago’s H1 scarp price was at US$207.50/ton; Philadelphia’s H1 scarp price was at US$173.50/ton of, were unchanged.

During September 18-24th, United States crude steel production was 1.605 million short tons, down by 1.7%, compared to 27,000 short tons in previous week.
