United States commodities giant Cargill is looking to sell its metals and energy companies, because its core business is being restructured.

The company is looking to sell part of their business as a strategic review of these enterprises, is still in its early stages. Cargill may ultimately will not sell the business.

Cargill is trading about 40 million tons of iron ore per year, and 5.5 million tons of steel, including its international sales of steel products, as well as in China and the United States domestic steel sales.
