The UK’s Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) has initiated a Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) review on February 4 into quotas on three steel product categories, including Category 4 (Metallic Coated Sheets), Category 5 (Organic Coated Sheets), and Category 19 (Railway Material).

The period of investigation is from 2015 to 2019. During the review, the TRA will assess a change in circumstances since the application of TRQs on products subject to this review under consideration of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) data for this period.

The reviews regarding three TRQs were imposed after a transition review, following which measures were imposed from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024.
