According to the latest data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported more scrap from the European Union (EU) in April. Among them, the United Kingdom (UK) was Turkey's largest scrap supplier, increased by 28% to 343,570 tons year-on-year. The ferrous scrap and scrap iron imported from Netherlands and Germany accounted for 293,700 tons and 103,850 tons, respectively.

However, the United States (US) export scrap iron to Turkey fell to 316,650 tons in April, the total amount of scrap iron imported from the US was 455,340 tons last year. The Turkish scrap suppliers also included Russia, Romania, Romania, Romania, France, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, and Libya.
