Erdemir, a Turkish steel producer, announced that its net profit was around 2.7 billion liars in the first half of 2018. Its sales revenue was about 11.6 billion, increasing by 30% year on year.

In the same period, Erdemir sold around 3.8 million tons of steel plates, grew by 100,000 tons year on year due to European strong demand in steel plate; its domestic sales amount was about 3.2 million tons, a hike of 2% year on year; its export amount was around 630,000 tons, rising from 560,000 tons year on year.

Meanwhile, its sales amount of long product was 420,000 tons, increased by 34% compared to 2017; its domestic sales amount was around 400,000 tons, declined by 24% year on year.
