ThyssenKrupp Nirosta, the giant stainless steel maker in Germany has commissioned its new annealing and pickling line to replace the original one that was destroyed in a fire last year at its Krefeld workshop.

This new line, has the capacity of 250,000 tonnes per year for cold rolled strip annealing and pickling, was made by Andritz group.

It can proceed with the size range of 0.2-2mm in thickness and 600-1,380mm in width.

In that fire, a cold rolling line was destroyed as well, which is being re-constructed.
