ThyssenKrupp Materials NA Inc. has become part of the first global aerospace service provider, after completed acquisition of Apollo Metals Ltd by parent ThyssenKrupp Service AG on January 11

Based in UK, Apollo Metals supplies high-grade production material including aluminum, stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals with value added processing service for aerospace manufacturers and related supply chain.

This acquisition makes ThyssenKrupp Materials NA to integrate the service in this industry in European and Far Eastern operation with its service centers in the US and Canada, expanding to aerospace operations in Latin America. This global enterprise has 30 locations in 13 countries and makes sales of 700 million annually.

It is a significant business strategy in aerospace industry and enables ThyssenKrupp access to major aircraft manufacturers as well as their suppliers.
