As steel scrap price surged earlier, Taiwan's rebar price to Korea has jumped to US$600/ton.

Given the expectation of price fall, no actual deal was made so far unfortunately, according to a trader.

It's said that Taiwan’s mills may cut their prices to US$570/ton later in response to scrap price drop, but the price is still higher than buyer’s expectation.
