Taiwan's Chung Hung Steel Corporation (CHS) announced its new domestic steel prices for December last week.

The company decreased its price in order to support its downstream customers. After reducing the price for three months, CHS December's price was closed to the deal price in the market.

Stimulated by the international steel price up, CHS increased its hot-rolled coil (HRC) export price for January shipment, and there were over 20,000 tons of orders for January from both South Korea and Vietnam, with a quite stable trend.

Based on that, CHS was quite optimistic about the market in the future.
