Spain’s largest steel long products manufacturer Celsa Group announced that its new rolling mill in France was under construction, which would cost 60 million euros.This new rolling mill was expected to strengthen Celsa’s influence in the market of Belgium-Netherlands-Luxembourg Economic Union.

Celsa noted that this action would help Celsa France be the largest steel joint company in south France.

About 140 direct jobs and 420 indirect jobs would be created because of this program, according to the estimation from Celsa.

According to the latest economic report from the European Steel Association (EUROFER), the EU’s steel production in 2019 was expected to increase by 1.5% and increase by 1.7% in 2020.
