Russian Severstal announced to increase rolled steel sheet deliveries for international main automakers in order to assemble their cars in Russia.

It would definitely to boost the company’s margin along with supply for added-value products.

Meanwhile, Severstal's Cherepovets Steel Mill has already supplied automotive body sheet for Volkswagen brand cars, including the models such as VW Polo Sedan and VW Tiguan. The company also rolled products for Skoda's Octavia and Fabia car models.

In the meantime, Severstal has also signed a new long-term delivery contract with South Korean Hyundai to supply rolled products to the assembly works at its St. Petersburg facilities.
