Outokumpu, a Europen leading stainless steel manufacturer based in Finland, said it has set a new standard for sustainable stainless steel, introducing the Outokumpu Circle Green, with a 92% lower carbon footprint compared with the industry average and 64% lower than Outokumpu’s regular production.

Outokumpu is shaping the stainless steel market with this new emission-minimized product line, saying that energy sources and consumption in the entire changed production process can assist in reducing emissions footprint, and using stainless steel and nickel scrap as raw materials is also helpful.
