NMDC Steel Limited (NSL), a subsidiary of the Indian state-owned mining company, National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), achieved several production records on April 26th, demonstrating that its integrated processes, including the raw material handling system (RMHS), coke oven, blast furnace and steel melting shop (SMS), are fully operational to rated capacity. Its power and blowing plant (PBS) also exceeded the rated capacity. Besides, NSL supplied liquid nitrogen to the Chhattisgarh government for the first time, enhancing its contribution to the regional industrial ecosystem.
The company said that these record-breaking results show that NSL's production processes have been running stably, marking the official entry of the plant into the mass production and efficiency stage, and fully reflects NSL's commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and resilience.
