It is reported Japan's Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metals planned to establish business integration together. The new joint agreement will become effective in October of 2012.

The new formation of company will be name as Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation respectively.

However, both companies expect to discuss more mutual cooperation and business structure in order to fulfill joint agreement which they have been approved.
