Reportedly, South Korea’s Korea Trade Commission (KTC) launched the final determination of anti-dumping duty on austenitic stainless steel heavy plate originated from Japan.

KTC considered that austenitic stainless steel heavy plate originated from Japan has brought serious damage to South Korea’s industry.

Hence, KTC has proposed to impose 13.17% of AD on the products with thickness over 8mm and width and length up to 1,000mm and 3,270mm respectively. The effective duration is five years.

Meanwhile, it’s known that KTC began to have the anti-dumping investigation on Japan’s stainless steel heavy plate from 28th April, 2010 after receiving the application from DKC, South Korea's only stainless steel plate producing company.
