India's Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has announced that it will hold an oral hearing on the anti-dumping (AD) investigation on hot-rolled flat products of alloy or non-alloy steel originating in or exported from Vietnam on February 27, 2025.

The AD investigation was initiated in August 2024 in response to a complaint from the Indian Steel Association (ISA).

The investigation focuses on hot-rolled flat products of alloy or non-alloy steel, not clad, not plated or coated, of a thickness up to 25 mm and width up to 2100 mm, classified in tariff categories 7208, 7211, 7225, and 7226.
