GD Copper USA had a plan to invest US$3.5 million in its facility. This investment will provide 40 new job opportunities.

The company had a mill located in the Thomasville-West Wilcox Industrial Park since 2014. It was for its US market. About 80% of the plant’s employees were from Wilcox and Clarke County. GD copper USA also tried to provide the training and help local employees to become part of the management team.

GD Copper Group also enjoyed support from federal, state and local leaders. The new investment was a long-term growth for GD Copper USA to become part of important economy for the whole community and step further for the facility operation and management.
