According to the European Association of Iron and Steel (EUROFER) data, in last December, the European Union domestic steel scrap prices rose 3% month on month, down significantly by 33% year on year.

In last December, the EU steel scarp (E3) prices were at €159/ton, an increase of 3.92% month on month, down by 33.47% year on year; those for steel scrap (E2/E8/E6) prices were at €157/ton, an increase of 1.29% month on month, down by 33.19% year on year.
