On April 14, 2021, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) announced the disclosure of the final anti-dumping (AD) ruling on graphite electrodes originating in China, ruling that the products involved were dumped. Moreover, the dumping has caused substantial damage to the EEC industry, so it was recommended the EEC impose a five-year AD duty (from 14.04% to 28.2%) on the products involved.

The product involved is the graphite electrode used in electric arc furnaces, with a circular cross-sectional diameter less than 520 mm or other cross-sectional areas not greater than 2700 square centimeters.
