Recently, China’s export quotes of seamless steel pipe to Taiwan dropped slightly due to weak demand.

It’s known that the Chinese export quotes of seamless steel pipe with diameter 200mm~400mm to Taiwan are at NT$35,000~NT$40,000/ton recently.

However, Taiwan’s recent monthly import volumes of seamless steel pipes are less than 10,000 tons because of poor demand.

For the prospect, dealers predicted that the demand would increase in the fourth quarter, driven by the pipeline project of Formosa Petrochemical Corporation (FPCC).
