Reportedly, Australia’s continuous torrential rainfall may impel coking coal price to rise further.

It’s known that the mining activities have been forced to interrupt in Bowen Bain region in Queensland since this September.

Accordingly, analysts indicated that the severe rainfall may cause the supply much tighter in the global coking coal market.

At present, the spot prices of coking coal is at US$225/ton FOB; moreover, it’s predicted to increase further to US$250/ton FOB.
