On November 7, Armenia decided to extend the ban on ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal exports for another six months, valid for a period from January 31 to July 31, 2025.

The decision was to regulate the export of ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap and goods, secure the base of raw materials, develop local production, as well as stimulate manufacturing activities in the domestic metallurgical industry.

The products involved are ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap and waste, as well as some used ferrous and non-ferrous metal products. The ban applies to shipments of the subject goods to Eurasian Economic Union members and third countries.
