Chinese Tisco cuts stainless export prices by US$100/ton for May

It’s reported that Taiyuan Iron&Steel Group (Tisco), the largest stainless producer in China announced to cut the export prices of its 300 grade stainless products by US$100/ton for May delivery in response to declined nickel prices and sluggish Asian market.

Therefore, Tisco’s prices of 304 grade stainless cold rolled coil with 2B finish and thickness of 2mm for May delivery is at US$2,950/ton, decreasing from US$3,050/ton for April delivery. The prices for stainless hot rolled coils are at US$2,800/ton, declining from US$2,900/ton.

Besides, the company will offer US$100/ton of discount for those who purchase more than 1,000 tons.
