Australia continues AD & CVD measures on China’s silicon metal

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced that the Minister for Industry and Science has accepted the Commission's final ruling of the second anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) sunset reviews on silicon metal from China, deciding to continue to impose AD and CVD duties on these products in the form of ad valorem measures, valid from June 4, 2025.

The interim AD duty rate is 16.2%, the interim CVD rate is 29.4%, and the combined interim AD and CVD duty rate is 45.6%.

The products involved are under Australian HS code 2804.69.00.14.
