Signs of easing US-China trade tensions and a US stock market rally drove international crude oil prices higher on April 22, rebounding from the previous trading day's sharp sell-off.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for the May delivery increased by US$1.23 (2%), reaching US$64.32/barrel, and for the June delivery grew by 2% to US$63.47/barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for the June delivery rose by US$1.18 (1.8%), settling at US$67.44/barrel.
