Taiwan’s Yieh Phui seeks vindication after US preliminary dumping determination on corrosion-resistant steel products

16 Apr 2025 14:23 reported by Joy Liu

Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Yieh Phui), a leading coating steel mill in Taiwan, said the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) recently preliminarily determined that its corrosion-resistant steel products are engaged in dumping and will be subject to an anti-dumping (AD) duty of 2.64%.

Yieh Phui had previously been exempted from the US’ AD case, but because the US steel mills filed a complaint again, the USDOC launched a new round of investigations.

In response to the preliminary ruling, Yieh Phui submitted an explanatory document and accepted an on-site inspection by the US yesterday (April 15). It emphasized that its production and sales in more than 130 countries around the world comply with each country's regulations, and it hopes to obtain final vindication to maintain its competitiveness in overseas markets.
