On March 11, 2025, the Mexican Secretariat of Economy (SE) announced its preliminary determination of the anti-dumping (AD) administrative review on I-shaped and H-shaped steel beams originating in Spain, deciding to maintain the definitive AD duties of US$0.0613/kg on ArcelorMittal Olaberria-Bergara SL.

This AD administrative review was launched on June 19, 2024, at the request of Gerdau Corsa, Deacero, and Grupo Simec, to assess whether this measure is still justified during the review period from January 1 to December 31, 2023.

The products involved are I-shaped and H-shaped steel beams mainly used in construction and structural engineering, classified under tariff codes 7216.32.99 and 7216.33.01 of the TIGIE.
