Malaysia revises AD duties on stranded steel wire from China

Malaysia’s Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry announced that it has revised anti-dumping duties (AD) on stranded steel wires for prestressing concrete from China. Southern PC Steel Sdn Bhd, representing the domestic industry, requested it.

The anti-dumping duty for producers and exporters is subject to 21.72%. It also set specific anti-dumping duties for Chinese exporters after the review, with 9.07% for Silvery Dragon Prestressed Materials Co Ltd Tianjin and 3.12% for Tianjin Dalu Steel Strand For Prestressed Co. The revised anti-dumping duties will be effective from February 5, 2025, to December 24, 2026.
