On December 5, 2024, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced that it launched an anti-dumping (AD) duty investigation on corrosion-resistant steel sheet originating from Turkish company Borçelik Çelik Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. (Borçelik) to determine whether those products are being sold at below normal prices in Canada.

It is a self-initiating investigation without a formal complaint from the industry. The CBSA will make a preliminary decision by March 5, 2025.
