The city of Ningde in Fujian Province, China, has announced plans to achieve an output value of CNY 260 billion for its stainless steel new materials industry by 2025.

Simultaneously, it aims to expand its stainless steel processing capacity to 15 million metric tons by the same year. Besides, more than 30% of enterprises in the stainless steel industry are aimed to reach benchmark energy efficiency levels.

Known as a key industrial hub, Ningde hosts significant operations in shipbuilding, new energy vehicle batteries, stainless steel, and copper refining, underscoring its strategic role in advanced manufacturing.
