POSCO Assan TST and its partner Kibar Holding recently launched the Stainless Steel Industry Association (PASSAD), led by Kibar Holding’s CEO, Haluk Kayabaşı. The association has started operation.

The newly launched PASSAD is the third association following the existing PASID (Stainless Steel Business People Association) and PASDER (Stainless Steel Development Association).

The establish of PASSAD is to enhance the stainless steel industry, popularize the use of stainless steel, solve the problems of producers, users, and consumers, ensure the development of the stainless steel industry, and effectively represent the industry.

It was understood that the new association would represent POSCO Assan TST to speak out for the anti-dumping (AD) issue.
