Scrap market remains stable

18 Jul 2024 15:49 reported by Stanley Wang

A A A
On July 17, China's scrap market remained largely stable, with slight price increases in a few regions. Following this week's earlier rise, market prices have begun to stabilize.

However, rainfall in certain areas has impacted the volume of scrap collected at recycling bases. Also, steel mills have a limited scrap surplus. Therefore, the prices remain stable overall.
