On December 6, a Deutsche Bank economist said the European Central Bank will decrease interest rates in April 2024, which is predicted in June 2024 before.

Deutsche Bank analyst Mark Wall and others said in the report on Wednesday they predicted the European Central Bank will cut interest rates by 150 basis points (bps) in total in 2024 and will cut 50 bps in April and June next year respectively.

Deutsche Bank analysts thought the interest rate cuts are probably to start in March next year considering inflation data and comments from decision-making authorities.
