At the Mingyue Lake Aerospace Information Industry International Ecosystem Event, Landspace announced its plan to develop a reusable stainless steel rocket.

Landspace is one of the earliest commercial launch companies and the leading commercial company in the creation and operation of space transportation systems in China. The company was founded in 2015 after the Chinese government opened parts of the space sector to private capital in late 2014.

Currently, the plan is in its early stages, so details such as a tentative test launch date and rocket size were not stated. Besides, many Chinese companies are interested in stainless steel rockets and may face domestic competition in the future.
