China’s crude steel production totaled approximately 79.1 million tons in October, falling by 3.7% compared to the previous month and by 1.8% from the same month a year ago. The real estate development investment in the first ten months of the year fell by 9.3% year on year, with a decrease of 0.2% more than that in the January-September period.

The spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics of China said that indicators such as real estate development investment and commercial housing sales in October have had certain improvements. With a repaid recovery in China’s economy, consumer goods market, and industrial production, the investment in infrastructure, manufacturing, and other industries was expected to keep growing.
