China’s Commerce Ministry to restart AD investigation on Japan’s stainless steel

China’s Ministry of Commerce announced on November 9 that it would restart the investigation into the anti-dumping (AD) case against Japan’s stainless steel products to meet the World Trade Organization (WTO)’s rulings and recommendations.

Back to July 22, 2019, China’s Ministry of Commerce decided to impose AD duties on stainless steel billet, hot-rolled coil, and sheet from the EU, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia. The products involved are classified under HS codes 72189100, 72189900, 72191100, 72191200, 72191312, 72191319, 72191322, 72191329, 72191412, 72191419, 72191422, 72191429, 72192100, 72192200, 72192300, 72192410, 72192420, 72192430, 72201100, and 72201200.
