Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co., Ltd., one of the major wire rod manufacturers in Taiwan, maintained the price of 304 stainless steel wire rods and the surcharge of 316 products for October. Meanwhile, the price of carbon steel wire rods was raised by NT$500/ton.

The price adjustment was a response to the continuous depreciation of the New Taiwan dollar, which increased import costs, as well as the current market conditions and downstream buyers’ competitiveness.
