On September 21, 2023, the Mexican Ministry of Economy (SE) announced its preliminary determination of the anti-dumping (AD) review on rolled steel plates originating in Russia, regardless of the country of origin, deciding to lower the AD duty rate from 29.30% to 12.35%.

The products involved in this case are rolled steel plates or sheets, with a boron content equal to or greater than 0.0008%, hot-rolled, with a width greater than or equal to 600 mm and a thickness equal to or greater than 4.75 mm but less than or equal to 10 mm, classified under tariff codes 7208.10.03, 7208.25.02, 7208.37.01, and 7225.30.91 of the TIGIE.
