Mexico terminates AD measures on China’s hexagonal zinc-coated wire mesh

The Mexican Ministry of Economy (SE) announced on its official gazette on September 21, 2023 that it has decided to terminate the anti-dumping (AD) measure on zinc-coated (galvanized) steel wire mesh in hexagonal shape originating in China, regardless of the country of origin.

The product involved is low-carbon steel wire mesh, woven or intertwined in the shape of a hexagon, galvanized, or zinc-welded, with a gauge in a range of 18-25, in diameter from 0.51 to 1.20mm, hexagon opening dimensions ranging from ½ to 2 inches, with the most common sizes of 13 mm (½ inches), 20 mm (¾ inches), 25 mm (1 inch), 38 mm (1 ½ inches), and 50 mm (2 inches).

The products involved are under tariff codes 7314.19.03, 7314.19.99, 7314.31.01, 7314.41.01, and 7314.49.99 of the TIGIE.
