US’ structural pipe exports fall in Jul m-o-m, y-o-y

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 10,100 tons of structural pipes in July, falling by 1.5% compared to the previous month and by 2% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 4,900 tons, down by 5.9% month on month and up by 13.4% year on year. Canada ranked second with roughly 4,860 tons, and the exports to other destinations were less than 1,000 tons.

During the period, the export value totaled roughly US$19 million, down by 3% month on month and by 30.6% year on year.
