On May 25, 2023, the European Council decided to extend the suspension of all customs duties, quotas, and trade defense measures on Ukrainian exports to the EU for another year, effective on June 6, valid until June 2024.

The renewed measures not only showed the EU’s political and economic support for Ukraine, which is still facing military aggression from Russia but also will maintain the stability of trade relations between the EU and Ukraine and keep Ukraine’s economic development during the very challenging circumstances.
