JSW Steel, a leading steel manufacturer in India, reported that its consolidated net profit was Rs 3,664 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2022-23 (January to March, rising by 13.3% compared to the same quarter a year earlier. The revenue amounted to Rs 46,962 crore, a year-on-year increase of 0.14%.

During the period, JSW Steel’s crude steel production hit a record high, reaching 6.77 million tons, higher by 8% from the previous quarter and by 13% year on year. The increase was primarily due to the continuous capacity expansion at the Dolvi plant.

For the fiscal year 2024, JSW Steel forecasted its crude steel production to be 26.34 million tons and saleable steel sales to be 25 million tons.
