Affected by the weak demand, Taiwan's import volume of stainless steel finished wire was less than 450 tons in March, which was the second-lowest monthly volume since last year. Although the finished wire import volume decreased, the exports rebounded to over 1600 tons in March.

Taiwan's stainless steel finished wire imports were about 1,000 tons last May, which was the largest import month last year. After that, the import volume reduced for several months.

The export volume of finished stainless steel wire was around 2,000 tons last June of 2022, which was the largest export volume since 2021, and then fell to about 730 tons last November.
