Local customers in the European market informed that due to multiple factors, including the suspension of furnaces, unsolved technical problems, and plenty of orders received that have already filled their entire production schedule of May, European mills are now actively raising their hot-rolled quotations to local buyers.

The increased hot-rolled quotations made cold-rolled and galvanized prices go up as well. Since most of the users hold a relatively pessimistic view towards the demand in the third quarter, and the prices for domestic products were high, buyers who have actual demand at the moment are looking for better offers from the foreign market.
