On March 24, the non-oriented silicon steel product structure optimization project independently developed by Baosteel Group was fully put into production, with an estimated annual production capacity of 500,000 tons. This is the only high-grade non-oriented silicon steel professional production line for the new energy vehicle industry in China.

The production line is highly automated, intelligent, and unmanned, and it adopts cloud, big data, AI, and other technologies to realize cloud big data applications and full process control.

With the full operation, the annual output of Baosteel's silicon steel products will reach 4 million tons. Among them, the annual production capacity of high-grade non-oriented silicon steel will exceed 1 million tons.
