South Korea's scrap imports increase in Feb m-o-m, y-o-y

South Korea imported about 402,000 tons of scarp in February, increasing by 33% month on month and growing by 9% year on year.

Among them, Japan was the main South Korean scrap import source, with a volume decreasing by 5.6% month on month to about 251,000 tons. The imports from the US, Russia, New Zealand, and Australia were around 58,000 tons, 35,000 tons, 17,000 tons, and 24,000 tons, respectively.
