According to the determination made by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) and the US International Trade Commission (USITC), revoking the existing anti-dumping (AD) duty order on light-walled welded rectangular carbon steel tubing (LWR tubing) from Taiwan would likely lead to a continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury to the US industry. Therefore, the USDOC published an announcement to continue to implement the AD order on LWR tubing from Taiwan.

The products involved are LWR tubing of rectangular (including square) cross-sections, with a wall thickness of less than 0.156 inches, classified under subheading 7306.61.5000 of the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS).

This AD duty order was applicable from March 6, 2023.
