Ukraine’s semi-finished product exports in 2022 plunge y-o-y

According to data from State Customs Service, last December, Ukrainian steel enterprises’ semi-finished products exports dropped by 16.2% month on month to about 71,000 tons. Meanwhile, the revenue of enterprises from exports totaled about US$44 million, falling by 17.3% from the previous month.

Among them, Bulgaria imported most of Ukraine’s semi-finished products, with 25.55% of deliveries in monetary terms.

In 2022, the exports of semi-finished products amounted to nearly 1.9 million tons, plunging by 72% year on year.
