1 Dec 2022 16:33 reported by Stanley Wang

Germany’s government announced that it would implement a cap on the cost of gas and electricity for households and businesses, and it will be effective from March 2023. Besides that, the government will pay a one-off subsidy covering gas bills for December.

Germany is looking for a new energy source instead of Russian energy after the Russia-Ukraine war. The government spent €200 billion on financial support and ensured it had sufficient resources in winter.
