China's average daily crude steel output estimated at 2.886 million tons in mid-Sep

The growth rate of crude steel production in China slowed down in mid-September. The estimated output was about 28.86 million tons, and the average daily output was 2.886 million tons. Compared with the first half month of September, the increase was 0.91%. The year-on-year increase was 5.15%.

Data showed that in August 2022, the average daily output of crude steel in China was around 2.71 million tons, a monthly increase of 3%. The average daily output of pig iron was 2.3 million tons, a 1.2% month-on-month increase. The average daily output of steel was 3.49 million tons, with a 2% monthly increase.
